I thought I had it all figured out moving here to San Antonio and doing what I love. I did not. The struggle was real without a car because everything is far as all get out walking from here to anywhere. But at least the internship is fun!

No more struggle b**ch hours for me! On June 20, I was finally relieved of my bus, Lyft, and Uber struggle time adventures in San Antonio. My parents drove all the way from Dallas on Father’s Day to bring me my car. I felt a huge load of depression lifted from my shoulders. Stay tuned for updates!

“Woke” on Hulu: Review

“When you assume the worst, you can’t be surprised when it actually happens.”

Woke

Series that mix animation or inanimate talking objects with real environments are usually something I avoid at all costs. I read the synopsis for “Woke” and thought no different.

I was scrolling through Twitter when I saw it as a trending promotion and read some of the tweets before watching the trailer. I was partly sold that it might be worth my time. Then I saw that it addressed the issues of police brutality and race in America, and I was really interested.
