Continue reading ““Lovers’ Lane”: Reedsy Discovery Review”On July 18, I went to one of the spots that’s said to have some of the best margaritas in SATX– La Gloria in the Pearl. I went alone because I had no one to go with me, but I was really determined to get a margarita before I leave here. As I sat there sipping my margarita and the minutes went by, I realized something. I was sick of my solo explorations of this town. It wasn’t fun anymore. I felt let down by all the people (3 in particular) who had recommended these places to me and were now ghosting me or straight up ignoring me to my face. So I decided once I got home, this would be my last solo outing while I’m here.
