Thoughts on my current read: ‘Parable of the Sower’

In case you’re not following me for cool and random tweets on Twitter, I recently did a thread on what I’m reading. It’s not one of the books I’m reading to review, by the way, just a personal read.

Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler is ahead of its time. But I guess that’s to be expected of science-fiction, right? There’s something different about this particular read, though. Also, why did I not start reading this SOONER?
